Itsy made the grave error of maligning the name of your Editor while talking to another user. He then tried to make it up by suggesting that your Editor could be made to win the Trivia game in #Townhall and receiving some cash. Neither happened, so readers should be warned to not believe all you read from our fearless purple spider. (ya think? - Itsy)
Donna518 is to be watched, also, as she is a person to be dealt with. Not only does she stand at her house in VA and try to wave away any snowflakes, but she goes into #townhall and asks for votes on everything, including SNOW or NO SNOW. Your Editor suggests someone count the votes before calling the weather man.

1906 - Hugh Gernsback of the Electro Importing Company advertised radio receivers for sale for the low, low price of just $7.50 in Scientific American magazine. The first ad selling the gizmos guaranteed reception of about one mile.
1910 - Enrico Caruso and Emmy Destinn were heard via a telephone transmitter; rigged by DeForest Radio-Telephone Company to broadcast from the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City.
1939 - The program, Honolulu Bound, was heard on CBS. Phil Baker and the Andrews Sisters were featured on the program.

Not a lot this month since it its the holiday season .. BUT.. once again the canadians have invaded! This time its provincial premiers who get blitzo and go driving on the worlds shortest interstate system (Hawaii) .. just when we thought it was safe to open the borders again.

Sad but true. On the other side of the world in New Orleans, a unnamed yat like person had a war with somebody selling earrings or noserings or some kinda rings. Apparently didnt get the right quantity. Rumor has it that the guy who packed the box has a job working for the governmen of a large really really big country up north.

We may never know.

We may never care.

We may never care to know. or vice versa.

    When I was in my younger days,
    I weighed a few pounds less;
    I needn't hold my tummy in
    To wear a belted dress.
    But now that I am older,
    I've set my body free;
    There's comfort of elastic
    Where once my waist would be.
    Inventor of those high-heeled shoes
    My feet have not forgiven;
    I have to wear a nine now,
    But used to wear a seven.
    And how about those pantyhose
    They're sized by weight, you see,
    So how come when I put them on
    The crotch is at my knee?
    I need to wear these glasses
    As the print's been getting smaller
    And it wasn't very long ago
    I know that I was taller.
Though my hair has turned to gray and my skin no longer fits
On the inside, I'm the same old me, It's the outside's changed a bit.
But, on a positive note.....
  • I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, Life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.
  • I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.
  • I've learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.
  • I've learned that making a "living" is not the same thing as making a "life."
  • I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
  • I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.
  • I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.
  • I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.
  • I've learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.
  • I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
  • I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
  • Please send this to phenomenal women today. If you do, something good will happen ...... You will boost another woman's self esteem. If you don't ... the elastic will break and your pantyhose will fall down around your ankles. :) :)
